Welcome to The Astrolabe, the online creative space of Fredrick Royster. I am a visual/web designer based outside of Chicago, Illinois. Using industry standard software like Adobe's Creative Suite for Web, and hand coded html and css, I have been able to create innovative design solutions from wireframes, to mockups, to prototypes to final web production. I combine together strong layout skills with typography, color, image manipulation, and methodology to ensure the best designed and developed product that satisfies the client's needs.

My interest in User Interface and User experience has led me to pursue my Masters of Science in Human Computer Interaction from DePaul University in Chicago.
